The International Guild of Realism will be returning to the amazing Principle Gallery Charleston in beautiful Charleston, SC, to host our 20th Annual Juried Exhibition, which will be held from June 5th through June 30th, 2026.
This will be our biggest gallery show of all time and we expect to have 2 or 3 days of IGOR Art Events celebrating our 20th IGOR Gallery Exhibition! We have a first Friday opening so it should be busy all night. We are planning to have multi-day art events with a group dinner, seminars, historic gallery walk and much more.
Since we had a very successful 15th Annual at the prestigious Principle Gallery Charleston, we are very excited to have them host our huge 20th Annual Gallery Exhibition in 2026. The Principle Gallery is in the heart of the historic district in beautiful Charleston, a Top 5 Art Market! The gallery is centrally located among many quality art galleries, luxury shops and fine dining, attracting plenty of affluent visitors during the peak spring season. We couldn’t have asked for a better time or location. Charleston is a major US art market and has well over 50 art galleries so definitely plan on entering our upcoming 20th Annual IGOR Exhibition!
The Principle Gallery Charleston is one of the highest rated galleries in the country. It's one of largest galleries in Charleston with a beautiful museum style exhibition space and they represent some of the best realists working today. The gallery has been featured in numerous national art magazines. Principle Gallery Charleston finds joy in sharing museum-quality works from established American and International artists within the realm of Contemporary and Classical Realism.

As customary during our annual juried exhibitions, we ask the gallery to appoint a guest judge(s) to award the ribbons for each category to the Guild Members for their outstanding artwork. All award winners receive their custom designed ribbons by mail after the conclusion of the exhibition.

The jury for this year’s exhibition was handled in two levels with IGOR Charter Members handling the first level, and then the owner and gallery director of the Principle Gallery completed the selection. Once again we received an amazing array of superb entries and our jurors were quite impressed with the quality and creativity of the work entered. Thank you, IGOR artists, for submitting such wonderful artwork.
The jurors, after reviewing the images over a few weeks, then made the difficult final selection. Deciding upon a limited number of paintings from an impressive array of entries wasn’t an easy task, and the jurors could not resist adding many more pieces to this exhibition than originally planned by the final jurors. Well over 40% of the entered IGOR artists made it thru to the final jury so please realize that you always have a good chance at being juried into a future IGOR gallery exhibition because of our small, juried only membership. We had artists from many countries enter this exhibition including Canada, Germany, Azerbaijan, England, Norway, South Africa, Mexico, El Salvador, and USA. Plus, we have a huge diversity of media in the exhibition including Acrylic, Watercolor, Oil, Soft Pastel, Colored Pencil, Graphite, Pastel, Ink, Egg Tempera and Scratchboard.
Congratulations to this year's selected artists! The artwork submitted was exceptional (well over 550 entries). The exhibition will include 107 works by 102 IGOR members. Here is the final list:
