IGOR 16th Annual ExhibitIon
At the McBride Gallery in Annapolis, MD
June 10th through July 24th, 2022
We are proud to share our 16th Annual IGOR Exhibition at the prestigious McBride Gallery in historic Annapolis, Maryland from June 10th thru July 24th, 2022, with a preview that opened on Friday night June 10th and a public opening that was on Sunday afternoon, June 12th from 1 to 4pm. We were able to secure peak months of June and July so the weather was ideal for our opening weekend art events. We had multi-day art events with a group dinner with art talks, historic city and gallery walk and much more.
The McBride Gallery is one of the highest rated realism galleries in the country. It's the largest gallery in Annapolis with a beautiful gallery space and they represent some of the best realists working today including several IGOR members. The gallery has been featured in numerous national art magazines.
"Annapolis, Maryland's capital city, is on Chesapeake Bay. Its historic district includes 18th-century brick houses and the domed 1700s Maryland State House. On Church Circle, the Romanesque-style St. Anne's Episcopal Church has Tiffany glass windows and a historic cemetery. The sprawling waterfront grounds of the United States Naval Academy feature beaux arts architecture, monuments and a naval history museum. A ‘museum without walls', Annapolis is a lively, upbeat, contemporary city where four centuries of architecture embrace 21st-century living. Here all roads lead to the water and a nautical heritage intrinsically linked to the Chesapeake Bay." Quote from Google
Since we had amazing success with our three days of art events and other fun activities at our 15th Annual Exhibition in Charleston, SC., we again offered several days of interesting art activities for attending IGOR members. We had an art seminar with noted guest speakers, a gallery and city tour of Annapolis, a private invitation only dinner and much more. The Opening Preview and Reception was on June 10th and 12th, 2022.
