Roger Weatherburn Baker
Roger formerly managed the IBM Gallery of Science and Art in New York City and served for several years on the board of the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, Connecticut. He is a Founding Member and President of the Naples Fine Art Dealers Association (NFADA).
Leslie Cheek, FASID Leslie is a Medalist Award winner and Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers, and a former member of that society's national board of directors. She is a member of the board of the United Arts Council of Collier County and holds key positions in several other southwest Florida community organizations.
Jonathan Green
Jonathan is one of the country's top African American painters whose work is in the permanent collection of several museums in the southern U.S. He has received numerous awards over the last 30 years of his career, including most recently the Key of Life Award this month from The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in recognition of his lifetime contribution to the arts. Next month (March 2009) he will receive the keys to the City of Naples where he resides.
Judges for Specific Categories
The Director's Choice Award was judged by Heather Begley, who has served as Executive Director for The Weatherburn Gallery for the past ten years and is a leading figure among young art professionals in the Naples community.
The Artist's Choice Award was judged by Jonathan Green (see above).
The Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine Best of Show Award was judged by B. Eric Rhoades, Chairman and CEO of Streamline Publishing, Publisher of Fine Art Connoisseur.
