Artist's Biography:

Carolina Daley’s love of art can be traced to her birthplace, Italy, and to her large and creative extended family. She has studied art both in Italy and the United States. Carolina lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband and three children.

Artist's Statement:

Beauty is all around us. The unexpected play of light on ordinary objects can inspire me to take a closer look, to see the everyday with new eyes. The more I observe my subject, the more I discover. I am fascinated with capturing every detail in a scene – from the smallest dapple of light to the myriad colors hidden in a shadow. Building up layer upon layer of paint, I create the illusion of reality with my brush.
