| Vala
Ola is an artist who passionately seeks to create sculptures and paintings
that show her dedication to excellence. Her classical training in Europe
is reflected in her art. After a successful career as a designer in her
native country of Iceland she relocated to the US in 1994. She then found
herself booked solid with portrait commissions in oil for the next seven
years. When moving to Scottsdale, AZ, in 2001 she dedicated herself to sculpting
contemporary figurative bronzes and paintings in oils. Vala's work has been exhibited in Reykjavik, London, Santa Fe, Scottsdale, Dallas, Park City, Loveland (2005), Los Angeles and New York. |
